Kovakkai / Ivy gourd Rice
Ingredients
- Kovakkai 250 gms
- Carrot 50 gms
- Onion 1
- Ginger and Garlic paste 1 tsp
- Garam Masala 1tblsp
- Salt
- Cumin Seeds Powder 1 tsp
- Boiled Rice 1 cup
- Mustard Seeds
- Oil
- Curry leaves
- Coriander leaves
- Cut Kovakkai in length wise.
- Cut onion and Carrot in length wise.
- Heat oil in a pan and put mustard seeds, ginger garlic paste, onion, carrot and kovakkai and fry for 10 min.
- Add garam masala, cumin seed powder and salt and cook for 10 min till the vegetables are cooked.
- Then add boiled rice and mix well.
- Add coriander leaves and Curry leaves for seasoning.
